And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've had em for 55 years and yes, some of mine would get right on, even at liberty in the yard. Ive had more than one that liked to go on trailer rides. Some i think really love it. All mine in time got excited as heck if the trailer was getting moved/used. But some hate it and although they get excited when it moves, they don't want to get on, no matter what... I'd taught them it was necessary and loading became easy, but it was obvious they were just following orders.

ReplyDeleteMy wife has had horses for nearly 60 years...I can tell you that I have never seen one of her horses voluntarily enter a trailer on their own.
