The Anchor

  1. As a non climber, but nature wanderer, when I see anchors leading up the sides of mountains I’m hiking through, I always think of the first person to set them up.

How hard is it to drill em?

  2. Depends on the material, don't ever trust sandstone with a bolt, limestone is sometimes questionable, and granite is the best.

  3. What kind of knot is that? I can see that it will hold if you pull on one end but slip if you pull on the other. Makes it easy to get your rope back later.
