  4. I stay away from metal wires. It’s rare but happens where metal shives get left behind and picked up in the food. Stories exist of ppl who shallowed said shives. My wife made me switch to rubber bristles after she found one in her food, luckily before she bit it.

    1. Left behind on what, food particles that weren't removed? In 40 years of using wires I have never seen what you mentioned occur. Fact is, if you use the wires properly and remove ALL of the food-grease there is no place for any wires to stick to.
