  1. As I look back to 1969 and the Yamaha DS-250 - two cylinders, two-stroke, thirty horsepower, 300 pounds, $600 brand new.

    If I'd had THIS instead, I'd've probably killed myself.

  4. Nope. They won’t sell shop manuals for any of the new bikes. Once my Hexhead is done it may be time to look elsewhere.

  5. Having had 3 BMW bikes, my most reliable was an R60/6. A bit underpowered. I presently have a K1100LT, which is a fine bike, but right on the cusp of being way too complex. Most anything newer is tragically expensive and top heavy!
