And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

If you have to be snowed in, then this is the place to do it
Yeah, reading a lot more. Again. I just finished a book that I can recommend, "The German Generals Speak". The author interviewed the surviving generals and Field Marshalls after the war, published in 1948. One take-away was that about the time that the British suspended their efforts to kill Hitler, the German Generals realized that he was going to lose the war for them and they started thinking about how to get rid of him. Since the book was written before the Allies released the information about the Ultra secret, the Germans had a much better opinion of Montgomery then I think they would have had if they had know. Or that he deserved.
CW, where do you get these room scene images? Designers use the better ray tracing modelers to make this kind of scene in order to show off how good their skills are. There used to be competitions. And eventually, the ray tracing software got so good you really couldn't tell it from real.
