And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

REO Speedwagon. Inspiration for a rock band. Ransom Eli Olds' second car company after he sold Oldsmobile to GM. Saw one of these sitting in a farmer's yard in Payette, Idaho many years ago.
There is a cream and red REO running around Buford GA. It has part of a blower and scoop sticking through the hood.

ReplyDeleteThere used to be a ton of them in a junkyard outside of Bellaire, Michigan. I think most of the yard got cleaned out during cash for clunkers.
