And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The Ancestral Home. I like the dog watching things.
Warm, inviting incandescent lighting….none of those cold impersonal LEDs or those stupid curly flourescents. Makes ya feel good to get home on an evening like that one.
Half of the driveway gate is missing. How long has it been gone? Not a good security situation. Even if not normally used, it needs to be available. Looks like a dog house inside the drive wall turn. Interesting position, if so. Not near the house, like most are. Dogs usually want to be near their humans.
Which one? They’re both watching things.
