Probably ruined the boat on the landing, and their faces bounced off the dash.

  1. Fake.
The water's relatively smooth, so what would make it get that high?
Yes, that height would crack the spine and snap the transom off.

    1. Only thing I can think of is another wake but there is suspiciously little spray coming off the hull. Could be photoshop.

    2. Notice the name.
THAT'S how it got so "high".

  3. It had to be airborne to get that shot. Probably not as high as it looks. Not every picture is photoshopped.

  4. I've built, raced & destroyed boats for 40yrs & that's going to hurt. When the engine hits the water the bow is going to dig in & stop forward motion like hitting a brick wall & everyone is going to keep going. It's an old film picture & all the contrast is gone but I think it's real . I would like to see the outcome. Probably not pretty.

  5. Old Superboat or maybe Velocity. I'm surprised that Mercury black anchor was able to propel it that high.
