    2. Actually, the biggest problem for those houses is a brush fire. fire dept access and population exit is up exceedingly narrow streets, without enough room for vehicles to pass in both directions. Once a fire gets going thereabouts, they lose whole neighborhoods.

      Then, a few months later, stripped of anchoring vegetation, rains mean whatever didn't burn goes down the hill in a mudslide.

      Like has happened since non-Indians have recorded the goings on there.

      There was smog over the L.A. Basin when the Spanish first arrived.
      It was from Indian campfires.

  6. That is LA calif. Century City in the back ground, flew over LA many times to land at Burbank airport..BTW best to go there than LAX, must easier to get around.
