And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Interesting. Unfortunately, I didn't make the list.
As for MS, I would have thought the Hoods (lumber/manufacturing), Lamptons (ERGON petro), the Brumfields (ag/coomodties trading) or Robertsons (ag/banking). In HS w/ Jimmy & Warren Hood, plus Lee Lampton. Tom Robertson rents in Beaufort SC every Feb. Sweetie (IN farmgirl) can't understand a word he says. Thick, gutteral MS Delta accent.
If you watch Grisham's "The Chamber", that's Warren's house. 13 acres, 8,000 sq ft.
Charles Koch in Kansas. I've seen him at the Koch campus cafeteria and wait in line with everyone else, to get his chow. I don't believe he made his money on pushing gubmint regulations.
