I have my doubts about the house, but the view is great!

  1. It looks like it is set up for max solar gain in the winter, with enough thermal mass in the lower walls to reduce the temperature swings. As long as you can get airflow up and out in the summer it looks like a very efficient design.

  2. Rick, judging from that roof shape the air flow is probably quite good passively, depending on the interior. If it is open enough, hot air would all go up and theoretically out the vents at the top peak with the windows, if you had intake vents near the bottom opposite those windows it would draw in cooler air.

  3. It appears to be a house in India.

    1. Ah so construction is questionable at least.😉

  4. It has the appearance of an abandoned build. Interesting design, though.

  6. I would not have windows like that, just my bias.

  7. I knew a guy that kept the outside of his house and property looking like a hovel, but it was absolutely gorgeous inside. Trying to keep his property taxes down.
