Given the age, I wonder if those keys really are ivory?

  1. My mom used to have an upright that was shipped around the Cape of South Horn. Wonder what happened to it.

    Restoration is thus impossible, and even if it was possible, would probably cost more than simply buying any three new pianos.

  3. The keys are most definitely ivory - it is what every manufacturer used in those days. The ivory is very thin pieces glued to a wooden key - not a solid piece.
