And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I was wondering that too, thinking that it maybe just popped out and she hadn't noticed it yet, and it happened to catch on her top. If she had taken it out just for the picture, she probably would be holding onto it. If she had taken it out to eat corn or something, then she probably would have stuffed it into her top more securely, to avoid losing it.
Doesn't matter how or why her plate landed where it did. Simply because it did, and the area it landed on is large enough to do the catching, leads me to believe that she'll do alright in the end.
Despite her missing teeth, she's got a cute face! Her other teeth look healthy, maybe she caught a backswing in a sandlot baseball game.. I did, when I was six, and I still have a little lump on my skull as a reminder.
Only thing better would be placing my beer atop her head.
