And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Of course it is. You just aren't a fan. Sounds like you have never seen them in person. Go see the Van Gogh collection at the d'Orsay in Paris or the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. He was very special.
Was never a fan...too impressionistic for my taste. But the genius is there.

ReplyDeleteIncredible artiste but didn't give a tinkers toss about perspective. Look at the size of the field worker versus his surroundings.
