And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The post listed nice summer drive would be fun to have to get near this vantage point. Yeah, I know it is shot from a drone, but driving in would be more fun to me than walking in.
Believe it's near Toroweap-did it at night in about '80 or so . Stayed a couple of days; Ed Abbey wrote about it. Yer closer to the other side than to the River (THE RIVER). Fishing poor from the top; views and terrain are great.
