  1. Even just looking at that picture makes me queasy, it's messing with my middle ear.

  3. Phuqing architects.

Form over function. Followed by the ever popular " it can't cost that much to build it ".

  5. Looks like The Leaning Tower of Russian Tenement. Yet they built this abomination by some architect thinking doing something outrageous affords making a name for themselves. What a lousy use of space that makes you heave just looking at it. Like Gehry's idiocy. Imagine decorating your room or simply walking down the hallway. Aesthetics matter, but only after function...let alone the added cost to construct this mess.

    1. Each ascending floor has to be framed as increasing cantilevers on that left side, I'm sure the interior is plumb with only the shell having the illusion of a tilt. A waste of structural budget to be sure, but not difficult to calculate loads for design.

  6. why? just because you can design something, doesn't mean you should build it.

  7. I like it!
How do you make something that still does a simple-basic job but looks different?

  8. A friend had an AMC Gremlin whose design & color those buildings remind me of, for some reason.
