Don't let it bite off your whole hand!

  1. I used to have a cow I named Peaches. I'd feed her out of my hand. It was a hoot because she'd take the whole peach into her mouth, roll it around and in five or ten seconds spit the pit out onto the ground. Pa-tooey. Hilarious.

She'd actually come to me when I called her because she knew I'd have a treat for her.

    1. Sounds like she had you trained.

    2. She was worth it. Popped out a beautiful, healthy calf year after year and never had a health problem herself. If they were all like her cattle ranching would be a walk in the park.

  2. What animal is this? What am I missing?

  3. White rhino. Depending upon which source you believe, "white" doesn't have anything to do with color. In this usage it's allegedly a corruption of the
Africaans word, weidt - meaning "wide" and referring to the width of the upper lip. Look for a picture of a black rhino, and the difference will be obvious.

    1. Makes sense. Since both white and black rhinos are the same grey color, 'white' has to refer to something other than color.

  5. We had 2 rhinos at the zoo, and one died. Now the remaining one hangs out as close as it can get (~10ft) to the visitors.
