And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

ReplyDeleteI read the other day that a school district somewhere is removing all their analog clocks because the kids can't read them.
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense. After all, the school wouldn't want to go to all the trouble of teaching the kids how to read them, would they?
BTW, I like the kitchen clock. That's pretty neat.
Wonder if the kids can figure out clockwise and counterclockwise.
