The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The right to self defense is a natural right. If the government continues to ignore violent crime people will take matters into their own hands. Look at what's going on Brazil RIGHT NOW. Really, maybe ignoring crime is incorrect, it's more they're enabling crime.
