  2. Nah, just looks like someone shoehorned a 4 banger water cooled or a small block V8 into an older bug if the other side looks mirror image.

    1. I knew a guy who had a large bore 6 cyl Porsche engine in a beetle...Sleeper at the stoplight. I built a header for it. Really complicated bends and welding...

  3. Could be a big horsepower 4 cyl motorcycle engine. 160+ hp will move a bug!

  4. Knew a guy, years ago who helped me build my 1st 327, he shoehorned a tube chassis and a 383 stroker into a beetle. It was... disconcerting at the big end of the track.
