  2. Considering the job the exhaust system has to do that is an extremely well engineered piece of work. Imagine trying to bend all of those pipes and make them fit together.

    1. I am thinking about the hours it spent on a dyno while they tried different bend combinations to get the most out of the engine.

    1. probably somewhere between 20 and 50 horsepower...You'd be surprised what a tuned exhaust stack can do to balance flow and scavenge the cylinders. Of course, the intake can account for that much as well.

  7. And yet with all that V-12 fury, that year they mandated tires with grooves to reduce the speed.

    1. Does Grooved tires = street legal? I will buy the tires if you buy the fuel. Probably cheaper.
