The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? "The hose" was the first "lesson" I taught my daughters. (I have photographs) There were many more. One is now a scientist and the other is a pilot who attended the Air Force Academy. Neither are anyone's fool and I have no qualms about entrusting the future of the country to them. They don't vote Democrat.

Scars are like badges. Each one has a story, often jaw dropping incredible. Looking back, I'd do it the same way.
