  1. That looks like the IMPERTINENT, the submarine of Captain Nemo's daughter, Emily Nemo, who married Ivan Dragonomov, and helped found The Assassination Bureau, LLC.A company that, since there are times a country needs to deal drastically with some, in a manner that cannot be traced to said country, The Assassination Bureau, LLC, became a 00 Contractor to the British Government, and Special Services Provider to the General Services Administration, of the US Government.

The Assassination Bureau is headquar in Mallard Lake, Wisconsin, where the US Government asked them to be located, after it was discovered that T.R.U.S.H., the Technological Hierarchy for the Removal of Undesirables and the Subjugation of Humanity, an international organization founded my Professor James Moriartey, and Colonel Sebadtian Moran, serking to locate it's world headquarters where no one would suspect it to be, located it in Mukwonogo Wisconsin. Because of the desire to end T.R.U.S.H. with as little violence as possible, Assassination Bureau operatives notconly have a lucense to kill, from the US and UK governments, they are also authorized and trained U.N.C.L.E. agents.

Amanda Dragomomov, the current owner and CEO of the Bureau, keeps the current IMPERTINENT in a secret sub pen, under Big Weasel Island, in Lake Superior's Apostle Islands. An interesting piece of trivia, is that both the current IMPERTINENT, and her underground/undersea ase, were both designed and built by Admiral Harriman Nelson's Nelson Marine Engineering, builders of the reasearch submarine SEAVIEW.

  2. League is a measurent of distance not depth

20,000 leagues is about 72,000 nautical miles. The title 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is not actually referring to a journey to a depth of 20,000 leagues. Instead it is actually referring to a journey spanning a horizontal distance traveled 'under the sea'
