And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Beautiful aircraft, BUT (BIG BUT) the performance is too much for a piston engine (turbine engines work better ie more reliable, at the high end of the performance envelope) and too many can afford to buy it without the ability to safely fly it. Same with the Cirrus aircraft. Lots of performance without the skill to safely operate it. Basically the same problem that has been around for decades- The Beech Bonanza "the doctor killer" from the 1950s-80s.
Flew in a "doctor killer" on time, didn't know it at the time but I was the co-pilot. Damn nice aircraft to fly. My most memorable flight was in a '53 Stagger Wing Beech Craft, rough, noisy and smelled of AV Fuel, best ride ever.
Perhaps a fiberglass, early Lance Air? just a guess
