And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I did make a parachute jumps with 2REP on Corsica a little over 20 years ago. Enough to get Frog wings. We do the same for them. It's more bling - with the ultimate goal being to look like a North Korean general.
I also did some stuff with 13DBLE before that. Same thing, fun guys who like to shoot and blow things up.

I wish I could find it but there was a 60 Minutes or similar type show that did a story on the Legion. They toured the brig and the interviewer asks a guy in a cell what he did to end up there. Guy says he sold his CO's wife into slavery
Armored cars or wagons at times, but they ain't got no tanks.
