And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Looks like MX style boots (knee guards) along with her MX helmet. Not impressed with her top, though. She's obviously never seen someone who has gone down on pavement wearing a t-shirt. She could be picking out road debris for a couple decades, and it looks like ground hamburger the whole time. Front wheel is cocked slightly, so she is already sliding around a bit on that wet road. Wonder what the camera saw a few seconds later?
'Friday Open Road' is my favorite thread of all threads everywhere. I can imagine myself in every picture. When I live forever on the New Earth spoken of in The Revelation, I'll finally be able to visit all these places and people. Thank you for it.
Agreed that the topography looks more like the Ring than Spa. At first I wondered if it was the Mille Miglia, but I don’t believe that the forests are that dense on the old route.
#3 Bixby Creek bridge north of Big Sur. The first time there, we were in a traffic jam. Someone had jumped a car over the guard rails and was hung up in the cliff about halfway down. They had a chopper out there trying to recover the body that was hanging out of the driver's side window. Suicide.
Lombard St (San Fran) always seemed twistyer than it looks here.
ReplyDeleteChick on cycle might need knee protectors...

Delete#9 : at a guess Jack Brabham and at another guess, the old Spa circuit in Belgium
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the need for such a large campfire for two out in the wilds, but I like the little surfer girl.

ReplyDeleteFerrari's in the stream, that is what we are. No one in-between, how can we be wrong?
ReplyDeleteThat’s a horrible way to treat a 512 BB. They are not at all off-road vehicles.
DeleteThe red IH KB-1 in the snow is beautiful!
