And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I think it is actually a Caterpillar. SeaBees, the " Can Do!" people, used Internationals. For some reason, the Army got GMC trucks, and Caterpillar crawlers, while the USN got Internationals.
Whoever loaded that load (those loads?) of logs did a better job than a lot of guys do today with modern machinery. You'll notice the use of 'gut wrappers' on both trailers. Those logs aren't going anywhere.

They pulled some serious loads in the ADK in the early 1900's with Linn tractors.
