  10. I gotta think some fabric covering those tubes would increase aerodynamic efficiency more than the tiny weight savings. Lot of turbulent drag there.

  11. My guess is that it is a shakedown flight of an experimental home build. Doors and fuselage covering will be added after all adjustments have been made.

  12. Like the saddlebags. Agree that this is probably a work in progress. I ahve an acquaintance that is doing the fabric work on his, now.

  13. There are several plans and kits for these type a/c. The fuselage doesn't add any lift, so why bother? Makes inspection easier, too.

  14. He's probably taking it to the extreme of wearing @$$less chaps.
    That way you don't soil yourself when you lose control of your bowels.
    Bummer for folks on the ground though.
