And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Fourth up from the bottom is the best! Sunrises/sets are always the best time for drama. I like the one of Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach also, but only because any view of it is fantastic...
Once in Colorado I came around the corner on a dirt road and a bull elk with 6 or 8 females was standing there. He towered over my pick up and looked at me with fire in his eyes. I managed to creep by and avoid his wrath.
I love the one of the gate going into the ranch at the foot of the mountains. Talk about Heaven!
