And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
If (as I've been led to believe) the plural of moose is mice/meese, then the dog is definitely a keeshund or Dutch Barge Dog, which was bred to dispatch rodents on the barges that ran the canal system in Holland heh!
That is a North American or Alaskan Moose hound. They are specially trained to go find a moose and bring it back to the camp so you can shoot it there...
The dog is a Norwegian Elkhound. Wonderful pups! Incredibly friendly, long lived and love to hunt deer/elk/moose. By barking at them :) The entire clip is available on youtube. They were moose hunting. I currently have a female Elkhound, she's 14 1/2 and still going!
These Norwegian Elkhounds sound like fantastic dogs - however I'd like to know if they know not to bring a bear back - though I guess if you're ready for Bullwinkle, you'd just take Yogi in stride.
sure looks like a keeshund
ReplyDeleteDog was chsing a squirrel. Moose got upset.
ReplyDeleteDog probably a Norwegian Elkhound.

ReplyDeleteBig game hunters seem to have little or no regard for their safety.
