  2. The screen's too big for all the crap broadcast on channels currently. For instance, Simon Cowel's head is so big all you'd see on this set is one nostril

  4. I am sure the enclosure was created to enhance the acoustic response of the speakers. I have seen similar designs in old audio magazines.
