And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The Tow Truck Driver Made It Out At The Last Possible Second
The tow truck driver may have made it out, but what about the person steering the semi? At least I would assume somebody had to be steering the semi since the tow truck was dragging it with a cable.
The Forest Service is pretty famous for out-sloping their roads. This saves them money by not having to maintain ditches and culverts. The simple rule to live by when you know you're in an area with slick soil on an out-sloped road is "Don't go in and you won't have to worry about getting out".
