  1. Only recently I have seen CB on late night TV after never giving her another thought over the past 40+ years. She was quite the versatile performer in the 70's on her show and I have a renewed respect for what she did. Around here, reruns of her 70's show are on ME TV in the 11pm to 12pm time slot. FWIW, I designed a custom home for Lyle Waggoner back in the 80's.

  2. Submitted for your consideration: a television writer and comedienne vie for the unlikely title of television show supremacy. Who will emerge victorious? The answer lies somewhere in the Twilight Zone.

  3. I always thought Carol was hot and still do even if she's a few years older than me.

    1. she was a Clown, this offered as a rare distinction of merit and talent.

    2. She was far more than "a Clown", as her extensive list of awards and nominations, and her ridiculously long c.v. attest.
She was a serious actress and singer, with Tony and Grammy nominations and awards to prove it.
Being an extremely talented comedienne was icing on the cake.
The short phrase for all that is "a national treasure".

And btw, she probably beat Serling at that arm wrestle.
