And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Love, Death & Robots - S3E3 - The Very Pulse of the Machine (2022)
The series is a real mixed bag: a few gems, a few pretty decent, and a lot of crap. Probably less than half of each season is actually watchable. On the other hand, don't recall there being much wokeness in there, which was nice.
I'd watched some before, this was a good reminder & I took a look again (Season 1). Each was short & reasonably entertaining, all I have to do is remember the next time I'm looking for something different.
Freaky great animation, but reading these comments, if this is netflix then I'm never going there. Tried it for three months about 4 years ago and it sucked.
What a pity netflix just thoroughly pissed us off enough to cancel.
