And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I always thought those phone with the keys on the handset were stupid because when they were popular there were many times when you interacted with some answering system by punching numbers.
i remember the banana phones of the early 70's. phones have not had any clarity since the old rotary's. todays best phones sound like two tin cans and a string . the old rotaries sounded like you were standing right next to the person even on long distance.
Note no star or pound keys, mid-sixties.
