And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Having lived on the East Coast for many years, being able to eat "Jersey Maters" (aka New Jersey Tomatoes) was always a summer treat. Now that I live in Colorado, out tomatoes rival Jersey's. I can't wait for another month or so to savor them.
I love "Caprise Salad" which is sliced tomatoes, Mozzarella cheese, fresh basil with a splash of Balsamic vinegar and virgin olive oil.
The term "GMO" is the libtard bane of existence. So silly. So stupid.
The poor rice farmers in Vietnam now grow at least two crops of rice with GMO rice. Prior to the introduction of GMO rice, they could only produce one crop. With two crops the farmers could afford a Honda motorbike.
Nothing like vine ripened. I like to throw in some home-grown Cukes sliced with the tomatoes in some oil & vinegar/herb dressing. Summers bounty; can't beat it. CC

No, not GMO. That's what real heirloom tomatoes look like. Not the flavorless red balls you get in the store most of the year.
ReplyDeletePass the salt & pepper please...
ReplyDeleteOMG! Let me at 'em!
