And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Difficult to get the wife to agree. Even made sample board showing various textures and color combinations. After completion, she was very happy with the results.
The numerous patches to the flat wall was an eyesore. It was the initial reason I decided to texture the wall. And if I'm going to do that, how about adding color. So I did.
Texture, primer, paint by stippling with sponge. Used three colors, additional two hues.

I was about to praise the fantastic wall paper. I'd like to do up my living room up with that.
