And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Yep. Had to cut into the firewall to squeeze that baby in there.
And you're right. They are great engines. I've run 12 valve 6BT engines in a personal Dodge pickup and a log processor and a 4BT in an excavator. I only experienced one slight hickup in at least 15,000 hours of operation. They're tough to beat.
Run it right and treat it right in a pickup and you should be able to get a million miles out of it, easy.
I used to own and daily drive a '68 300SEL 6.3. In its day it was the fasted sedan in the world. People called it the "Q-ship". I have seen broken ones with the drive shaft twisted into a spiral by the torque.
6 cyl. Cummins B-Series. Great engine in a sweet ride.
