And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Household growing up had 5 cats. The dryer was used for family counseling, to settle disagreements when any two of them had "issues".
Also, it being a front-load dryer with a glass door, all 5 cats successfully passed astronaut training in the late 1960s and early 1970s with no injuries, but a marked reluctance to volunteer for any further experiments.
Oh the temptation to flip the door shut, turn on dryer for 10 seconds, stand to the side and open door.
