And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Probably still works, if you could find the correct film
The rubber seals and gaskets are no good. The mechanical parts are still perfect, but you'll get light leaks on your film. You'll still get pictures, but they'll have random little white spots.
No longer making the chemicals to process the film. Several years ago Kodak did a limited run & I got a couple of rolls done but it was expensive. Still have a dozen rolls of color & no chemicals.
B&W film is available from Freestyle Photo : https://www.freestylephoto.com/category/2-Film/Black-and-White-Film?stock=0&attr%5B%5D=1-275&q= As long as the bellows don't leak, no reason you can't get a decent negative.
Maybe 120/220 roll film
ReplyDeletehttps://www.aperturepreview.com/kodak-vest-pocket-model-b says the film is 127

ReplyDeleteMine works, and you can get adapters to be able to use modern film. (You can still get the chemicals to process anything except kodachrome.)
