And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Natalie Wood and Steve McQueen for LOVE WITH THE PROPER STRANGER (1963)
Being in the Marines was what killed him. One of his tasks was to help clean up a transport ship that had a lot of loose asbestos. Breathing in that leads to Mesothelioma. Had an uncle that died from the use of loose asbestos in an electrical power company. What is aggravating is the problem was known for about a half century prior to their being in contact with it.
Wow, Natlie Wood was a cutie. I was born in 1963 so I was too young for her anyway, lol.
