  2. I remember seeing them for sale in the Napa Valley area in the 60s. Rutherford, I believe. Surprising, for sure.

He came home from WWII, worked on the family farm, started making tractors, started a hughly successful HVAC installation/service company, got rich, owned several Ferrari's, kept blowing up clutches, approached Enzo about supplying clutches, was dismissively turned down, vowed to build a superior gran turismo super car, did so.

  5. And Studebaker got their start making wheelbarrows for gold miners.

      That's not even possibly true; many miners got to California in a Studebaker wagon in the first place.

  8. My grandfather had a Lambo tractor that was a dedicated spray rig. He bought it instead of a Ford Jubilee because it had a few more HP and was $150 cheaper.

  10. Laverda motorcycles were made by an Italian combine manufacturer. Owned by a Count, IIRC.
