And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Just what everyone needs, a spearhead. Make your own handle to size. If I didn't have something like ten other projects already, I might be tempted to make myself a spear. For poking things.
I recently purchased a Cold Steel Assegai with short shaft specifically for interior confrontations. Not for throwing - used like a rifle bayonet. It is rather 'Pokey'. :^)
There's a standard spear handle size? I should file that away before the apocalypse.
