  1. I caught one about that size once. It was like trying to reel in something at least 10 times larger. They use their 'flatness' as a defense.

    1. I caught one about the size of a dinner plate in Tomales Bay, and what you say is correct. Before you see them you think you've hooked a whale. They taste much better than a whale as well :-).
