And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Once upon a time, Britain was a leader in aviation and aircraft, had a large, high quality fleet, a high quality army. They were even a European people.
Given their history and ancestry Brits are still a European people despite the endless efforts of some who refuse to acknowledge that they LOST! that pesky referendum. The big plus is that we are no longer subject to the whims and fancies of a bunch of unelected balloons in Brussels. Instead, we have the whims and fancies of our own bunch of elected balloons in wastemonster.

ReplyDeleteThank you Mr. Whittle!
