And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Red gets the point or it's simultaneous, Red parried the initial thrust and gained the 'right of way'. I saw no effective parry by Green. And I think that's "Fille".
There was no initial thrust by green. When green later tried, after red initiated the beat attack, for a stop hit they used a “flick”, a bent arm blade whipping action that doesn’t count as a proper attack. Tempo was with red, and right of way.
Green gets the point; Red was impaled on the thrust first.

ReplyDeleteI think that's foil.
DeleteYes. Small hanguard, thinner blade.
DeleteRed has right of way, executes a beat attack. Green’s stop thrust is not in time. Touch against green.
ReplyDeleteOh, and had green retreated another 4” they would have been off the end of the piste, which would have been touch against even without getting hit.
