And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Hose down the outside, park in the yard, set reciprocating sprinkler under jeep.... Come back in 30 minutes. Done. The bentonite mud we used to play in dried like concrete and the ol' sprinkler trick never failed and saved a lot of headaches.
The problem with this kind of fun is the cleanup required afterwards. That represents a LOT of quarters at the local DIY car wash.

DeleteThe early commandos with the buick V6 had the jeep nose, too. I had both, a '67 and the more scout-like 304 powered '72.
