And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I have a couple of big Pyracantha bushes & the Waxwings would eat the berries till they couldn't fly. Hundreds laying all over the yard.Haven't seen but a few so far this year.
They were drunk. We had a similar berry bush and by early winter the remaining berries had fermented. It was funny watching the birds get all silly and then take naps

DeleteUp here in western Canada they get drunk on fermented mountain ash berries.
