And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
When I was in highschool, early 80's and from a very rural small town in SE Ohio. A local boy, 1 year older than me, destroyed a nice 'Cuda and himself on SR78. Very crooked, where it happened and he was drunk. Small town. Sad day.
same here, a young kid's mother bought him a souped up Mustang and he wrapped it around a tree going over a hundred mph. Three other kids in the car, closed casket funerals all around.
