  1. I've got a 3/8" set from '69 with a ratchet like that. Didn't they have to stop making those due to patent infringement? Seems like for a while they didn't have the switch like that. Did they settle?

  4. I had a set like that. I also had a car that was a hatchback. The hot summer sun warped the plastic storage case. It was never the same.

  5. Craftsman today: chinese crap. Proof: it doesn't say "USA" on any of the tools. You want good stuff, hit E-bay and be prepared to pay thru the nose for the old stuff. And no, that "lifetime warranty" expired 20 years ago. I bought a metric shit-ton of Craftsman, for myself and my kids, in the 80s. Today? NFW.

  7. No, they do not have the lifetime warranty any more. Someone bought the name out of the Sears bankruptcy and it's all Chinesium garbage now.
